Definition of Strong numbers
Among all the works of translation and analysis of the biblical text in hebrew and greek, one of the most famous one is the Dictionaries of Hebrew and Greek Words of James Strong, S.T.D., LL.D. 1890. Indeed, in an effort to be faithful to the original meaning of the hebrew and greek terms in the old and the new testament, he has listed all the hebrew and greek terms of the old and the new testament by giving them a number and its definition(s). The Strong's numbers can be found in the King James Bible Version of 1769.
